insparation

Untitled

Inspired by friendship
Knowing for certain
The bonds that we share
Will never be broken.
When did it start?
When will it end?
Never. Forever
I will be your friend.
Trials we’ve faced
Hardships endured
But the person I
Always return to it you.
Beliefs shared
Victories celebrated
You’re always there
When my dreams come true.
Your beautiful smile
Brightens my day
And sends the shadows of
Darkness flying away.
Taken for granted
for that I am sorry.
Maybe today
I’ll thank God for you
The way that I should have
Through and through.
Hope is fleeting
But I’ll give it a chance.

HOMECOMING!

homecoming was awesome! all of it...the parade, the game, the dance. for any of you that didn't know, i walked with the thespian club. go LES MIS! anywayz......... the dance was awesome. pictures were at britta's, then dinner at the rain forest cafe. yum. story: when we first tried to get into the mall to get to rfc, the security guard at the door wouldn't let us in cuz we didn't have someone 21yrs+ in our group. so, we had to walk to a different door! i guess we kinda in the back of our minds knew about it, but i for one had never connected the security guards and us not getting in to rfc....annoying.
yah. church is in a little while so bye!

Kindness at Normandale

well i must say the kindness retreat at Normadale on Wed. rocked! Andy was there (the guy that was there when I was in 4th grade!!!! crazy...) I saw my sister & a bunch of her friends. i also talked with mrs miller! she's one of my fav. teachers ever. (frenchies...remember?!!!! got any memories ...or not so good ones if there are any...of NORMANDALE???!!!!) being there really brought back the memories!!!! back then, life was so simple...no responsibility, no hw, free time, recess, it was awesome! but alas, we all have to grow up. luckily, we go off on our own pretty soon, but the responsibility and stress only increase.

these are pics of me & my sis... she's so sweet!!!

the weekend...

this weekend i was pretty busy... sat. i went to setbuild a palooza from 11-2 which was a blast! :) we painted, and ate, and listened to some music (mcd's band...i don't really know their name....), and painted some more...it rocked. then i went shopping for an hour at southdale...pathetic. Church was from 6-8 and then i had a little meeting with someone there about an "opportunity" (as my dad likes to call it) that we're tryign to get off the ground. (it has to do with our missionary partners & sunday school classes & presents). its gonna be pretty fun.
so anyway, then i went home and did a little hw. Sunday morning i did more hw....blahblahblah. at 4 i had to be at church adn then at 5 was worship practice (i'm on the worship team for my Youth group). youth group was pretty sweet and then i came home and did more hw.

brother's birthday

today was interesting, for lack of a better word... it started out w/ me in AP Euro, taking a test. I didn't do that bad, but i did worse than on the previous quiz. i made a couple of stupid mistakes and i hate it when that happens. then i had math which sucked cuz it always does. Child Psych was awesome! it was "art day"; evrybody had to bring in a craft that 3-5-year-olds can do & then we got into small groups adn did each others projects! sweet huh?! I came home with a fingerpainted picture, a paperbag puppet, a butterfly-thing that's hard to explain but really cool, and a mask. So that was pretty sweet. Then i had les mis practice til 5:15 (we got out 45 min early!!! yaya.)
My brother's becoming a teenager on Sunday, but my family is busy Sun., so we went out for dinner tonight...Macaroni Grill. yum. I drove home (i love driving!!!) and my almost 13-year-old brother opened his presents, about which he's very excited. In fact, he's on the computer playing a new game as i type...

did i mention i love photography??? this pic is from a couple months ago...(a long time) when i was on a disney cruise. that's me w/ a tie that has the 7 dwarfs on it. actually, i used to be really scared of Snow White b/c of the witch-lady and the crazy animals adn the wierd prince. but i kinda got over most of that...mostly.

here's a couple more pics! they're from this summer when i went with my youth group to Lake Charles, Louisiana. We did hurricane (Rita..."the forgotten hurricane") relief....painting & roofing a very sweet widow's house. As you can see, we had tons of fun while we were working! It was astounding to see trucks in a ditch have filled with water; even after almost a year, many people were not yet back in their homes, back to normal...many of their lives will never be "normal." On our day off, we went to a beach...one of the vans parked right by a "no parking" sign...oops hahahaha. The last day we were there, the organization we were with, YWAM, held a Hope Festival for the people living in the town of Vinton. Remebering Venice (a super cool band from Ohio) played for free. we rocked out! it was pretty sweet. more later. ~anna

oops

sorry guys...i just realized that i "published" my previous post-thing like 5 times....OOPS....hehehe
anyways...i just had a super yummy bowl of ice cream...cookies 'n' cream, my favorite! mmm mmm mmmmmmmm.

les mis

We had practice for les mis yesterday after school til 5:30ish. It was scene 5 "the docks". if you know anything about les mis, its a funny, very sad & depressing song. But it was fun, yet not as enjoyable as monday when we did scene 2 when everybody's poor & desperate. I like blocking that song more. performing in november is gonna be soooo much fun...i cna't wait. but we still have a ton of work to do. that's all for now. bye
