brother's birthday

today was interesting, for lack of a better word... it started out w/ me in AP Euro, taking a test. I didn't do that bad, but i did worse than on the previous quiz. i made a couple of stupid mistakes and i hate it when that happens. then i had math which sucked cuz it always does. Child Psych was awesome! it was "art day"; evrybody had to bring in a craft that 3-5-year-olds can do & then we got into small groups adn did each others projects! sweet huh?! I came home with a fingerpainted picture, a paperbag puppet, a butterfly-thing that's hard to explain but really cool, and a mask. So that was pretty sweet. Then i had les mis practice til 5:15 (we got out 45 min early!!! yaya.)
My brother's becoming a teenager on Sunday, but my family is busy Sun., so we went out for dinner tonight...Macaroni Grill. yum. I drove home (i love driving!!!) and my almost 13-year-old brother opened his presents, about which he's very excited. In fact, he's on the computer playing a new game as i type...

did i mention i love photography??? this pic is from a couple months ago...(a long time) when i was on a disney cruise. that's me w/ a tie that has the 7 dwarfs on it. actually, i used to be really scared of Snow White b/c of the witch-lady and the crazy animals adn the wierd prince. but i kinda got over most of that...mostly.

here's a couple more pics! they're from this summer when i went with my youth group to Lake Charles, Louisiana. We did hurricane (Rita..."the forgotten hurricane") relief....painting & roofing a very sweet widow's house. As you can see, we had tons of fun while we were working! It was astounding to see trucks in a ditch have filled with water; even after almost a year, many people were not yet back in their homes, back to normal...many of their lives will never be "normal." On our day off, we went to a beach...one of the vans parked right by a "no parking" sign...oops hahahaha. The last day we were there, the organization we were with, YWAM, held a Hope Festival for the people living in the town of Vinton. Remebering Venice (a super cool band from Ohio) played for free. we rocked out! it was pretty sweet. more later. ~anna

oops

sorry guys...i just realized that i "published" my previous post-thing like 5 times....OOPS....hehehe
anyways...i just had a super yummy bowl of ice cream...cookies 'n' cream, my favorite! mmm mmm mmmmmmmm.

les mis

We had practice for les mis yesterday after school til 5:30ish. It was scene 5 "the docks". if you know anything about les mis, its a funny, very sad & depressing song. But it was fun, yet not as enjoyable as monday when we did scene 2 when everybody's poor & desperate. I like blocking that song more. performing in november is gonna be soooo much fun...i cna't wait. but we still have a ton of work to do. that's all for now. bye

homework is VERY boring

I'm still trying to not be bored, but hw is boring, so there's not much i can do. thsi isn't very boring, luckily, so i'm doing this instead of my very boring hw. (yah know, i'm not even sure if i really count this as hw b/c i'd do this anyways, just somewhere else....like myspace, xanga, or one of those other things....

umm...why does there have to be a title?!!?

well. I guess there doesn't have to be a title, but whatever.

ok. enough with the french. not much has happened since this morning, but I don't really feel like doing my other homework, so I decided to blog. i had french 5 4th hour and we listened to the french version of the Les Mis soundtrack. it was interesting to hear the differences between the american version and the french version. I also noticed that we didn't listen to "the docks" and I can guess the reason for that. 5th hour i have child psych...we watched a segment of Dr. Phil b/c our teacher wasn't there (big 6 training)...so that was fun. Chem was pretty boring...I didn't spill any water on myself or anything; pretty uneventful.
& yes if you haven't already noticed, I like ............................... it's fun to do...you should try it sometime : )
ok. I really should be doing other homework. so ttfn

still at school

ok so not much has changed in the past little while...I'm still in english class in the media center and having just a jolly good time. haha. we're trying to find each others blogs, but its not working...the wierd thing is that I can find other ppl's. gr. wait. no...we figured it out. the bell just rang. gtg.

School

Hey so I guess this is my first post....pretty sweet. Nothing much has happened today...oh wait! the first varsity ensemble practice was today at 7am. super early! (i'm very tired...) also, during choir, D.H was gone, & our sub played the bagpipes! It was very cool. So that's pretty much all the stuff that's happened this morning...
